I also wanted to remind you all that you can get updates on GVH’s process on a few other platforms! We really hope you’ll join us wherever you’re most active, so you can get angsty gay dinos in all your feeds □ Dang, it’s been a while, I am really blowing the dust off our Steam updates! □ Here, let me distract you with the shiny new screenshot from the game in the header… We’re baaaaaack, and this is an alert that we’ve given our Steam page a makeover, including some new screenshots, so take a peek and let us know what you think! Happy winter break to our team, and happy holidays to all of you. A narrative adventure set in the world of anthropomorphic dinosaurs, Goodbye Volcano High follows the non-binary Fang and their best friend Trish as they navigate their final year at Volcano High School. That’s all I’ve got for you! We want to thank you so much for your continued support, and for following our trippy lil journey while we make our queer lil dinosaur game, Goodbye Volcano High. Goodbye Volcano High was announced last summer at Sonys Future of Gaming online event. Where we all ooo and ahh and generally lose it over everyone's work. Sprint reviews are where our talented team shares what they've been working on (it's essentially a show and tell. Our resident hype-lord Ramo has also included some sprint review highlights from the past year. Supposedly it will release in summer 2023. The game it is parodying, Goodbye Volcano High, was announced to much mockery in 2020 and has yet to be released. Not to be that guy (as in: a dev encouraging you to subscribe to another form of getting content from me lol) but our end of year newsletter is going out tomorrow, and it's going to have the wallpaper version of our new key art that y'all have been requesting! Make sure to subscribe ASAP to get that in your inbox in time for the holiday season! Because we all need a new desktop wallpaper for the holiday season □ Snoot game is an impressive and heartfelt parody game that came out in late 2021. I have no idea what they were thinking here.Toot toot hi hi!! KO_OP here! We’re wrapping up for the year and getting ready to get cozy and not look at screens for a few weeks (jk we’ll be looking at so many screens but it’s not for work so it doesn’t count, right? …Right?) I don't like Night in the Woods, but at least the character models were cute. Why can't furries ever figure out how to properly blend colors on their goddamn models? It clashes hideously. Some king of flap? The colors on this one are ridiculous as well. I can't tell what that thing on its head is supposed to be. ![]() But that tail is screaming fetish material. The feathers acting as messy hair is a cute touch. This one isn't too bad, probably the best of the lot. ![]() Still can't really tell what type of dinosaur this is supposed to be. But seeing hair on this thing is really weird. This one isn't as bad as the others, maybe because the nose is smaller. Comes across looking very cheap and lazy. The same long faces with out much distinguishing the different species from each other. I love how the character (a fucking DINOSAUR) is POC-coded as well from the dreadlocks on her(?) head.Īll these background characters look the same. The nose-horn coupled with those anime eyes make me want to pee. Your expressions are much more limited with that kind of a head-structure. Who on earth would look at this design and think that it was a great model for the lead? The long-ass head makes it instantly feel alien to the audience. *Insert cliche that nonbinary character is obviously a female with daddy issues* Let's look at these fucking character designs because I've re-watched this fucking trailer for hours now and I still can't get over them. ![]()
